Robe iESPRITE LTLs Satis&fy The Appetite

German full-service production and experiential specialist satis&fy AG has recently invested in 140 of Robe’s new iESPRITE LTL moving lights, adding a powerful and highly versatile long-throw solution to its extensive equipment inventory.

Working across a broad spectrum of live productions – from touring, corporate and sporting events to exhibitions, installations and permanent venues – satis&fy supplies complete technical and spatial solutions, encompassing creative planning, project management, audio, video, lighting, rigging, event infrastructure and system integration.

With such a diverse portfolio of projects and clients, finding a multifunctional moving light to meet multiple requirements was essential – something that could tick A LOT of boxes!

“The decision to purchase the iESPRITE LTL was complex, as we were looking for a moving light that could universally meet the demands of our broad business portfolio,” explained Egbert Rothe, specialist equipment management (lighting) at satis&fy AG.

“There are several interesting products currently available, so we tested the different options extensively before settling on the Robe iESPRITE LTL.”

The comprehensive feature set, excellent size-to-weight ratio and IP65 rating were all important factors in that decision, and basically ensured that they could use the iESPRITE LTL on virtually all their events without having to make compromises.

“The technicians love working with the product, and the lighting designers love using it!” Egbert noted enthusiastically.

The iESPRITE LTL is the middle member of Robe’s LT family, sitting between the iPAINTE LTM and the flagship iFORTE LTX.

Its impressive 2–57-degree zoom range – extending to an ultra-narrow 0.7–2 degrees in long-throw mode – makes it an adaptable choice for medium to large-scale events, both indoors and outdoors.

It can also be fitted with an optional IP camera and used as a remote follow spot in conjunction with Robe’s RoboSpot system, further expanding its potential.

satis&fy has been using Robe products continuously for many years, building up extensive experience with the brand and its moving lights.

“We have consistently had very positive experiences with Robe in terms of reliability, availability in the rental market and the support provided by Robe Deutschland GmbH,” commented satis&fy chief operations officer, Norbert Tomkiewicz, particularly highlighting the reliable supply of spare parts and prompt service.

Robe’s strong brand acceptance both nationally and internationally was also critical, together with the company’s long product lifecycles and the associated retention of value.

“All these factors give us confidence that this was the right investment,” Norbert concluded.

satis&fy has been creating live and brand experiences for 30 years and now employs more than 500 people across 11 locations in Germany, the Netherlands, France and the USA.

In addition to its event technology, event architecture, staging, special structures, graphics, design, planning and production management services, the company is also a distribution partner for professional audio, lighting and video technology.
