Registration Open for 2012 Broadway Master Classes

Online registration is now open for the 2012 Live Design Broadway Master Classes, May 18-24, a week of top-of-the-line professional training in which theatre’s top artisans in lighting, sound, and projection graciously spend their time discussing their art and craft, both onstage and off. The Manufacturers Showcase features cutting-edge gear by leading manufacturers, providing a chance to see the industry’s latest gear in an informal setting.

The 2012 BMC schedule:

Broadway Sound Master Classes (BSMC), Saturday and Sunday, May 19-20, NYU Tisch School Of The Arts, including a Broadway show on Friday, May 18

Broadway Projection Master Classes (BPMC), Monday, May 21, at NYU Tisch School of The Arts

Broadway Lighting Master Classes (BLMC), Tuesday-Thursday, May 22-24, The Baryshnikov Arts Center and Sardi's. The BLMC includes a Broadway show ticket.

“We have added a special confidence rate this year, allowing attendees to register for the Broadway Master Classes now through February 17, before all of the faculty and shows have been announced, placing their trust in the excellence of the programs. With Jules Fisher and Abe Jacob returning as the creative consultants for the BLMC and BSMC respectively, and Zachary Borovay on board for the BPMC this year, you can be sure the quality of the classes and faculty will be as top-notch as ever” explains David Johnson, live design publisher and producer of the Classes. “The full-conference price of $995 represents a $300 savings on the regular rate. And student rates are as low as $99 for the one-day Projection Master Classes.”

Check out the full price grid for savings on all BMC options and register before February 17 for the best possible prices.
