D&B Audiotechnik has announced that Jasper Ravesteijn is joining the company in a senior role, effective immediately.
Ravesteijn is a well-known figure in the Pro Audio industry. He worked in his native Holland working for Audio Electronics Mattijsen (AEM), an audio design and install corporation. Ravesteijn dealt with system design, specifying and installing sound reinforcement systems for more than twenty Dutch theatres in five years. He then joined SAVI in the United States.
Said Ravesteijn: "I'm not very excited by my appointment, I'm thrilled to bits. But the combination of my finely honed sales brain, and D&B's immaculate products, are only half the story. What brought me to D&B is their philosophy, these people don't just make boxes, theirs is a cradle-to-grave service. For someone with my talent in sales, that open-ended commitment to customers is very attractive."
Ravesteijn will be based in Albany, NY, with responsibility for sales and service for the North Eastern seaboard. He will also give product demonstrations and advice on system utilization and application.
