Quince Imaging Appoints Danielle Crosby Senior Event Producer For Virtual Events

Danielle “Danni” Crosby, Account Manager, has been promoted to the role of Senior Events Producer. In addition to her current account management duties, she will be responsible for strategic planning and technical coordination, as well as production scheduling and coordinating vendor budgets and timelines for multiple simultaneous events. She will also provide clients with technical guidance and best practices when choosing streaming software or venue registration needs, managing remote presenters and training event moderators. Danni plays a large role in managing client expectations and will continue to be an essential part of the team that will tackle Quince Imaging’s initiative to expand live event production and virtual audience solutions to private, corporate, and union convention market sectors.

Danni joined the team in 2017, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge gleaned from her years of industry experience. She began her profession in 2006 at the University of Florida, where she worked her way up to Production Lead at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center; all while earning her B.S. in Telecommunications and Event Production. From there, Danni went on to achieve a career milestone, as the youngest woman ever to achieve the role of Director at Encore Event Technologies. Danni’s technical expertise, experience in both sports and corporate events segments, and reputation for stellar event management and production, made her a natural fit for the account manager role at Quince Imaging.

In the wake of the impact of COVID-19 on the live events industry, as the pivot from in-person to virtual events became inevitable, Danni shifted gears quickly from organizing galas for groups of several thousand in-person guests, to researching premium broadcast and streaming solutions capable of supporting robust virtual events. In essence, the challenge was to identify a solution capable of condensing the live, in-person event, down to a virtual platform reliable enough to simulate the live experience by supporting image projection, audio, lighting, broadcast, presenter platform, and interactive virtual audience engagement technology. Quince Imaging was able to achieve this goal and more, with Danni’s valuable insights. She also led the team with her recommendation to establish a collaborative partnership with the company that curates custom event websites for efficient virtual event management within a single platform. Equipped with innovative virtual event technology and 40,000 square feet of studio space for virtual event production at Studio Q, Quince was able to stay ahead of the ‘virtual event’ curve.

“We are delighted to announce the promotion of Danni Crosby, who has been integral in paving the way toward Quince’s current position as ‘go-to’ premium virtual event company.  She has led the events team in selecting a platform to provide the full range of Quince virtual event capabilities, programming our streaming solution, developing a new vertical with client registration sites, stepping in to assist client production teams with new virtual event technology, and most of all, working tirelessly around the clock to ensure all deliverables were met for seamless broadcast production of each virtual event. Danni’s contributions to the team have strengthened our relationships, providing our clients with a new level of trust, affirming that Quince Imaging will always provide an innovative event solution – even during the most uncertain of times,” announced Scott Williams, Chief Operations Officer.

Given the rapid and drastic shift from in-person events to virtual events, and the investments made in virtual event technology, many are curious about the trajectory of live events post-pandemic. When asked for her thoughts on the matter, Danni alluded to the experience of a client in the healthcare industry, that saw tremendous success with the launch of their first virtual annual investors meeting. “Virtual events are here to stay,” said Crosby. “Our clients are reaping rewards from the massive turnout of event participants due to the expanded capacity of the virtual offering. In the past, clients aimed to leverage interpersonal interaction with in-person events, but with the rapid innovation of virtual event technology, they are now able to engage and interact with virtual audiences on an unprecedented virtual level – webcam, streaming, broadcast, and our virtual event management platform are breaking barriers by attracting more participants and creating more opportunities for collaboration and knowledge sharing among an uncapped audience.”
