PRG Announces Management Changes

Production Resource Group (PRG) announced that Nicole Scano-Schwiebert, formerly vice president of asset management, will assume the role of vice president of human resources and administration, replacing Bob Donald, who is leaving the company. Steve Washington, who has been serving as operations manager of the Dallas office, has been promoted to general manager of PRG Dallas.

"We strongly believe in promoting our employees from within," says Jere Harris, chairman and CEO of PRG. "Nicole and Steve have proven over the years that their skills and vast knowledge of our company's operations will ensure that they have a successful transition into their new roles."

"Our industry is very specialized and is largely dependent on the relationships we've built over the years," comments Rusty Brutsché, PRG's vice chairman and chief technology officer. "By charging Steve with the responsibility of focusing on strengthening our relationships with product manufacturers and Nicole in hiring and retaining the best talent, PRG can continue to provide the highest quality products and personal service to our customers."

Scano-Schwiebert has been tapped to head up all administrative functions of PRG, including community and industry outreach. In addition, she will manage the human resources department where she will coordinate cross training programs between locations and work with manufacturers to conduct product training for employees. She will oversee these efforts at both the corporate and regional levels. In her 13-year tenure at PRG, Scano-Schwiebert has been instrumental in developing the company's inventory management system. As vice president of asset management, she coordinated the purchase and deployment of PRG's fleet of rental equipment. Scano-Schwiebert has a Bachelors of Science degree in economics and statistics from Rutgers University. She will be based in PRG's corporate headquarters in New Windsor, NY.

Washington will be responsible for the service and parts inventory of PRG's rental equipment. In addition, he will oversee the Dallas-based product development department and manufacturing of PRG's proprietary products such as the Virtuoso® control console, Mbox Extreme™ media server, AutoPar™ wash luminaire and the PRG Series 400™ data and power distribution system. Prior to his promotion, Washington held a number of positions in corporate operations where he assisted with purchasing, quality assurance, technical production, service, inventory management and documentation control of the rental equipment inventory. He has also served in the United States Navy. Washington holds a degree in electrical applications.
