The Children's Theatre Company Of Minneapolis is re-staging its popular production of Pinocchio, with lighting by Karin Olson. The show's unique concept, a group of painters arrive at a theatre to find an audience waiting for them and decide to tell the story of Pinocchio with whatever materials are to hand, requires the stage to transform from the ordinary to the magical.
Olson shares her light plot below. Stay tuned for Part II, when Olson talks to Live Design about her work on this production and as a lighting designer in Minneapolis, MN.
Pinocchio runs September 8 - October 18, 2026.
