Developed by Platige Image for Tourism Australia, the animated film was recognized by the jury of the 13th edition of The Lovie Awards. Sweeping first place in the Film & Video: Animation category was not the only award picked up by the Polish studio for its series of ads encouraging tourists to visit Australia. Only in October 2023, the production was officially recognized at the Shots Awards Asia Pacific and the KTR Advertising Competition, where it received as many as four awards.
The highly acclaimed film was commissioned by Tourism Australia, produced by M&C Saatchi/Sydney and FINCH, and directed by Michael Gracey.
The ads, encouraging tourists to visit Australia, were seen by over 100 million viewers online. The campaign also included versions of the ads developed for 3D DOOH media, displayed in prestigious locations including Godzilla in New York City, Moxy in Los Angeles, and K-Pop in Seoul.
One of the most prestigious in Europe, The Lovie Awards recognize contributions to the development of culture, technology, and business online. Launched in 2010, the Gold, Silver, and Bronze Lovie Awards recipients are selected by over 4,000 experts gathered in the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS) – the same body that presents the Webby Awards.
