NYSERDA Request for Proposals: Keep Cool Marketing Program

The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) is currently accepting proposals for providing marketing and public relations services for the Keep Cool Air Conditioner Bounty Program, to encourage consumers to replace their old, inefficient room air conditioners with new Energy Star models, by offering a $75 bounty. The program should also provide consumers with useful information and tips on how to make lasting changes to their energy-use patterns.

Planning for the Keep Cool Marketing Program will begin in February and the launch is expected in March. The contract will run until October 31, 2002, with a budget of up to $1.5 million. A single contract will be awarded based on experience, qualifications, and the ability to provide all the services identified in the RFP.

To participate, request RFP 654-01 from Karen Whalen by fax at 518-862-1091, by e-mail at [email protected], or by mail to NYSERDA, Corporate Plaza West, 286 Washington Avenue Extension, Albany, NY 12203-6399, and indicate that you are requesting RFP 654-01.
