NSCA Presents Live Sound Showcase & Workshop

NSCA and Live Sound International magazine will be presenting a “Live Sound Showcase & Workshop – A Test and Measurement Extravaganza,” a comprehensive interactive educational workshop to be held at the NSCA System Integration Expo®, March 10-12 in Orlando.

Scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, March 8-9, 2005, the workshop has been created for the “advanced beginner” audio professional, and will focus on the proper and accurate test and measurement of sound reinforcement systems, as well as in-depth analysis of loudspeaker performance within spaces/rooms. Several loudspeaker systems as well as the tools needed to perform test and measurement work will be on hand.

The event will also serve to highlight the NSCA’s 25th anniversary of serving the professional A/V industry. “As we celebrate 25 years in 2005, Live Sound Test & Measurement comes at a perfect time for the Systems Integration Expo,” says Chuck Wilson, NSCA executive director. “These interactive workshops will showcase just how far audio has come, while also teaching practical knowledge to a wide range of users.”

Loudspeaker manufacturers serving as sponsors include JBL Professional and SLS Loudspeakers, while test and measurement manufacturer sponsors include, SIA Software (SMAART) and Audio Control.

The Systems Integration Expo® is produced and managed by NSCA. The Live Sound Workshop is created and produced by Fred Ampel, Technology Visions.
