The Guild’s honorary Career Achievement in Television Award will be presented to Noel Taylor, winner of a 1978 Primetime Emmy for Actor, The Paul Muni Story. The President’s Award will go to Tzetzi Ganev and Tomas Velasco. Ganev is head of Custom Made costumes at the Western Costume Company and Velasco is one of the industry’s legendary studio tailors whose career dates back 60 years.

In addition, the following four Costume Designers will posthumously be inducted on Feb. 21 into CDG’S Hall of Fame, sponsored this year by the Anne Cole Collection: Howard Greer, Robert Kalloch, Bernard Newman and Richard Hornung. The Guild’s Distinguished Actor Award, still to be determined and announced, will be sponsored by Invicta Watch Group.

Each winner of a CDG award receives a work-of-art silver statuette, valued at $15,000 by its supplier, the famed Italian jewelers Bulgari. The award, one of the most sought-after statuettes in the world of awards, was designed by CDG member David LeVey who describes it as “an amorphous swirl of fabric resolving into a draped human figure of idealized female beauty.” The statuettes reflect a mixture of neo-classicism and 1940’s Hollywood glamour.

CDG’s Executive Director is James J. Casey Jr. Sponsors of this year’s CDG Awards include Bulgari , Anne Cole Collection, Invicta Watch Group, Daily Variety, Hollywood Reporter, Premiere, Los Angeles Confidential Magazine and The Scenographer. This year’s awards are being produced by jLine Productions (www.jlineproductions.com) and Executive Producer JL Pomeroy.
