New Cadac Reps In Spain, Russia

Cadac Electronics Plc has made two new distributor appointments, extending its reach across Europe and into Russia. In Spain, Cadac is now represented by Salvador Serra of RTS Audio, based in Barcelona. Cadac has also appointed StudiTech, headed up by Nikita Stepanov to handle the Russian market, providing direct local sales and technical support for the first time.

Salvador Serra has extensive experience of the Spanish installation and touring market, believing that Spain is ready for Cadac’s unique brand of audio quality and console flexibility. “I am very happy to become a member of the Cadac family, having great respect for the product and the people behind it," commentsw Serra. "Cadac consoles are installed at three prestigious venues here in Spain, and have an excellent reputation with all the engineers that know them. However, there are many other opportunities where Cadac’s sound quality and reliability represent a perfect match to the venue’s specification. It will be our task to make sure that the specifiers are aware of this in future, and that Cadac’s name becomes more widely known.”

StudiTech was established in 1992, formed by a group of sound engineers working for the national TV Technical Centre. Over a decade later, the company is based in Khimki, outside Moscow, and comprises 14 staff in total--a mix of professional engineers with a background in touring and installations, alongside project design, turnkey implementation and consultancy specialists. Commenting on the Russian market, Nikita Stepanov says:

“Things are improving here in Russia economically, and there is a strong desire to invest in quality long-term projects. The addition of Cadac fits in really well with our existing product line-up, enabling us to make a powerful proposition about the short and long-term benefits of investing in top quality solutions for PA, broadcast and theatre applications. We are focusing on the Cadac R-Type and the S-Type consoles initially, and see excellent potential here. “
