ENTERTAINMENT ELECTRICS WITH RICHARD CADENA

October 28 – 30, 2019

Entertainment Electrics is a three-day course covering almost all of the topics listed in the content outline of the ETCP Entertainment Electrician Certification exam. It is organized in a very logical way in order to accommodate a range of skills and experience. It starts with basic electricity, circuit laws, and theory, and it builds towards more advanced topics including power distribution, power factor, and harmonics, with an emphasis on electrical safety, the use of PPE, codes and regulations, grounding and bonding, and GFCIs.

CM-ET STAGE TECH CERTIFICATION WITH DAVE CARMACK

November 6-7, 2019

This course is designed for entertainment professionals responsible for ensuring the show goes on, every time. This hands-on, two day, ETCP-recognized training course covers the design and operation of a hoist, maintenance requirements and needs, startup inspection and troubleshooting.

TRUSS & ROOF SYSTEM DESIGN AND SAFETY WITH MIKE GARL

November 11, 2019

Learn how to properly design, build, and inspect truss and roof systems using the latest industry standards.  This course teaches best practices for calculation and design, connecting and lifting trusses, setting up roof systems, maintaining and inspecting equipment and removing from service.

FALL PROTECTION - COMPETENT PERSON/ RESCUER/MOBILE ELEVATING WORK PLATFORM WITH LEVI DeLONG of VER/PRG

November 12 – 15, 2019

Competent Person – Upon completion of this course, students will be capable of identifying fall hazards and implement measures to eliminate or protect them with appropriate fall protection systems.

Competent Rescuer – At the completion of this course, the student will be able to assess fall hazards and apply appropriate rescue plans to each.

Mobile Elevating Work Platform-(Scissor Lift Only) At the completion of this course, the student will be familiar with the classifications and components of  scissor lifts, the function of these components and be able to perform pre‐use inspections and safely operate the lifts.
