Mode Studios Opens Santa Monica Office

Mode Studios has opened an office in Santa Monica, California. Headed up by partner Matt Skerritt, the new location is expected to primarily serve the music industry with tour and concert design and direction as well as live DVD production.

“By launching the office in Santa Monica we’re making a commitment to service our music-industry clients better and work more closely with them,” says Bob Bonniol, partner and creative director.“We felt we needed this kind of proximity to our clients to enable us to work more effectively on their projects.”

Mode Studios selected Santa Monica as its base of operations after forging a relationship with Jeff Ayeroff, former chair of Virgin Records. “Jeff conceived the ‘Rock the Vote’ campaign and now he’s starting a new company, Shangri-La Music, in Santa Monica,” notes Colleen Bonniol, partner and president.“Our office is in the same building as Shangri-La, and we’ve already begun working on the 2008 ‘Rock the Vote’ with Jeff.” Both Colleen and Bob travel frequently to the new location.
