A memorial service for Steven Izenour will be held on Thursday, September 6 at 2pm, at Irvine Auditorium, 34th and Spruce Streets, in Philadelphia. In lieu of flowers or gifts, contributions may be made in his name to The Wagner Free Institute of Science, 1700 West Montgomery Ave., Philadelaphia, PA, 19121, or to The Tenney Memorial Library, PO Box 85, Newbury, VT 05051.
Izenour, a noted architect, co-author of the book Learning From Las Vegas, and son of theatre design expert George Izenour, died August 21 while on vacation in Vermont. He was 61, and a principal at the firm of Venturi, Scott Brown & Associates.
