Medialon to Show State-of-the-Art Show Control at LDI

Medialon's booth (#1558) will be one not to miss at the 2003 LDI show in Orlando, FL (November 21-23). The company will be demonstrating its newest software, Manager V3, designed to reflect the needs of the North American show control market.

"Manager has always been, at the core, an exceedingly powerful concept. We have reworked the structure and presentation to better express that power, while honoring the sensibilities of the North American production and creative communities," comments Ken Bell who is heading up Medialon Inc. "It's really an enabling program. You see it, and where it can take you, and you just want to sit down and write show control."

V3 is a brand new version of Manager, based on the input of leading theatrical, staging and theme park professionals. It is available in Lite, Stage and Pro versions. New features include realtime control of any cue, countdown windows, data recording, and visual containers for pop-up control panels. V3 also extends Medialon's innovation in the areas of network control and user interface development with new variables and new graphical indicators.

The LDI conference session on "Projection and Show Control" will include several projects illustrating Medialon technology.

Medialon's software for show control represents the cutting edge in media presentation technology. It is a revolutionary, software-based control system that allows users to program, control and synchronize a limitless number of external devices (i.e. audio, video, lighting, switchers, image processors, special effects) Medialon's unique programming environment enables the creation of scripted or interactive timelines that are easy to author and modify.

Since Medialon system architecture is based on standard IP network topology, it can be implemented in a number of ways, using standard, off-the-shelf components. It offers frame-accurate synchronization, DMX and Midi acquisition and editing, multitasking and permanent device position tracking. Medialon software has been the system of choice for the top corporations, museums and theme parks in Europe since its first release in 1999. Medialon also offers a software suite for Dynamic Signage applications such as retail stores and information channels.
