Martin Architectural Lightfair 2004: Exterior Inground 200 Series

Martin Architectural’s presence at Lightfair 2004 will be one of high visibility. The Martin Architectural booth, well positioned at the entrance to the exhibition hall (Booth #737), will be a working showcase for dynamic light that makes instinctively clear the benefits of this versatile medium.

Unconventional and experiential, this year’s booth clearly illustrates Martin Architectural’s passion for dynamic light. Incorporating customized themes, seasonal color changes, interactive zones, music, and graphics, Martin used their knowledge of theatre and performance to create a stand that will leave an impression. With the booths interactive elements, Martin realizes their mission to educate as well as inspire.

The comfortable and inviting booth will display the ability of dynamic light to change architecture by developing better lighting solutions with intelligent technology. Along with the Cyclo 03 series and the Exterior 200 Long Barrel, the Exterior Inground 200 Series is one of the new tools on show that is available from Martin Architectural.

Exterior Inground 200 Series: The Inground 200 Series is a durable range of IP 65/67 rated inground luminaires for dynamic illumination of facades, structures and landscapes. The Series offers three different color systems for applications of varying complexity: a static color, a selectable palette of six colors, or the near-infinite smooth color changes made possible by the Cyan, Magenta and Yellow (CMY) color mixing facility. True 0-100% intensity control of the 150W HIT lamp is also possible with this tool.

Three different lens systems are currently available for a variety of beam angle options: medium, wide, and very wide. The series also includes a patent-pending wall wash optical system with glass reflector and white glass front for real white light and true color projection. A lockable "rotate and tilt" lamp frame makes for easy re-aiming, and the complete lamp module is removable for relamping. DMX controllable with stand-alone or master/slave functionality, the Inground system is as easy to use as conventional uplights. A marine grade stainless steel trim and 5 metric ton drive-over limit make for a highly durable fixture.
