Mark Fetto Joins Morpheus Lights

Industry veteran Mark Fetto has joined Morpheus Lights in the newly created role of chief operating officer.

Fetto will focus on adapting Morpheus’ touring systems for greater labor and transportation efficiencies in the corporate events market, implementing new operational strategies at the main production/manufacturing facility in Redding, California and significantly expanding the company’s operation in Las Vegas.

“This is the perfect time for someone with Mark’s background to join us. Morpheus is focusing on maximizing the market potential of the Panabeam™XR2, while also strengthening our production capabilities," says Morpheus managing partner Paul Weller. "Mark has a proven track record managing organizations that provide a high level of customer service and, as a former lighting designer himself, a reputation for delivering systems that fully meet the designer’s intent. He has exactly the right blend of experience and skills for us – with real depth in introducing products and opening new markets.”

“Morpheus is a forward-thinking operation that has demonstrated a commitment to and deep understanding of the lighting industry," Fetto says. "This is just the type of operation that I want to be associated with. I’m looking forward to the opportunity to make a substantial contribution to its continued success.”

Fetto came up through the ranks of both Obie’s and Vari-Lite, starting as a lighting technician. Moving into sales and management, he opened Vari-Lite’s first satellite office in Las Vegas, went on to be the general manager of the corporate events division and later general manager of North American operations. Most recently, the Las Vegas-based Fetto was national sales manager for Stage Rigging, Inc.
