A statement from former ArKaos founder and strategy and management lead, Agnieszka Wojewoda reads:
It is with our deepest sorrow that we inform you of the passing of former ArKaos founder and CEO Marco Hinic after a long battle with cancer. Today the entertainment industry lost one of the industry’s brightest and most beloved figures. As a music lover and visionary he pushed the boundaries of technology to create a bridge between images and music. His attitude, guidance, intelligence and creativity have had an indelible impact on the entertainment industry. Time can never fade the memory of this leader and gentleman, and we will mourn the loss of a professional, friend and role model. Marco was a strong warrior up to his final moments, when he said: “I am just changing my cosmic address. We are just stardust.” And we imagine him like a shooting star, flying across the galaxy to another dimension.
