Lightfair International 2002 (LFI) will be held in San Francisco at the Moscone Convention Center. Pre-Conference workshops will be held Sunday, June 2, with the trade show and conference Monday to Wednesday, June 3-5. LFI 2002 will be the largest San Francisco event to date with over 400 exhibiting companies occupying approximately 1,150 booths in Halls A, B, C, and the Gateway Ballroom, with an expected attendance of over 17,000 architectural, engineering, design, and end-user professionals from around the world.
The New Product Showcase & Awards Presentation will kick off the show on Monday, June 3, in the Grand Ballroom at the Palace Hotel. Awards will include Best New Product of the Year, Technical Innovation, Design Excellence, Energy, the Roeder Award, Judges Citation Award, and Best of Category Awards, plus Best Booth Awards and Image Awards, recognizing exhibitor excellence in pre-event marketing campaigns.
The LFI committee has established 10 Pre-Conference Workshops and 27 Conference seminars. All will provide Learning Unit/CEU/LEU credits (upon association approval) for AIA, ASID, IESNA, IIDA, and NCQLP. A detailed listing of speakers will be announced in the coming months.
