LIGHTFAIR 2005 Conference Topics & Speakers Announced

Offering five days and more than 190 hours of educational options, LIGHTFAIR INTERNATIONAL 2005 will again present the world’s largest and most comprehensive annual architectural and commercial lighting conference. With course levels ranging from basic to intermediate to masters, it is the most technically challenging lighting education resource available.

The 2005 conference will feature dynamic keynote speakers during the LIGHTFAIR Daylighting Institute and LIGHTFAIR Institute programs on Sunday, April 10, and Monday, April 11. William McDonough of William McDonough + Partners will address of the luncheon on Monday, April 11, which will be co-sponsored by MechoShade and Philips Lighting Company. An exciting speaker for the keynote luncheon on Sunday will be announced soon.

Course options have been carefully developed to cover a wide array of the most relevant topics in the industry and provide AIA, ASID, IIDA, IESNA, and IFMA accreditation (upon individual association approval). Choose from among the fifteen Daylighting Institute courses; five two-day Institute courses; four Masters courses, eleven Workshops; or one of twenty-eight Seminars. LIGHTFAIR Daylighting Institute courses and LIGHTFAIR Institute courses, including Masters and Workshops, will be held Sunday, April 10 – Monday, April 11, 2005. Seminars will take place with the Trade Show, Tuesday, April 12 - Thursday, April 14, 2005, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York.
