Celebrating its 10th season and 480 episodes, Light Talk is a podcast with stamina. The Lumen Family was founded by three seasoned professional lighting designers and educators — the original three Lumen Brothers, Steve Woods (SMU), David Jacques (emeritus California State University Long Beach) and now retired from Light Talk Stan Kaye (emeritus University of Florida). Additional members of the Lumen Family are Brackley Frayer (emeritus UNLV) as well as lighting designer Dennis Size (The Lighting Design Group), projection/drone show designer Zak Borovay, and Lumen Sisters Ellen Lampert-Gréaux (LDI/Live Design) and Anne McMills (San Diego State University.
Episode discuss the latest topics and developments in the world of entertainment and architectural lighting design and offer sage, and sometimes controversial advice to professionals and students of lighting design. Plus interviews with leading designers. And a "live" show recorded at LDI every year.
