Lex Products expands its new Lex West facility by hiring Joe Goshert as their new technical sales rep.
In an effort to focus on new business development in the Western US and Canada, as well as to enhance existing relationships with local dealers, consultants and specifiers involved in the Entertainment industry Lex Products Corp has hired Joe Goshert, a former lighting designer and theatrical lighting and rigging expert, as Lex West’s newest technical sales rep (TSR).
“In having Joe join our team at Lex West, we have gained his years of knowledge and experience; in only a few short weeks, our engineering and production teams have already seen his positive impact,” said Mark McKinney, VP of sales for Lex Products. “He has also quickly become an asset to our customers in the Western US & Canada.”
“Getting a West Coast TSR on board was an important priority for us,” explains Bob Ferra, former president of Ferra Tech and now general manager of Lex West. “Joe’s wealth of experience allowed him to become instantly helpful to the Lex West team. Plus, his easy-going professional mannerism makes him a pleasure to work with.”
Goshert comments, “I am excited to join a fast-growing company like Lex Products and I look forward to working with Lex's current customers and developing new clients for the West Coast operations.”
Goshert graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Fordham University. Most recently, he was vice president of rental operations for Contemporary Lights and Staging, where he created client-specific, individualized lighting packages and provided customers with technical information, quotations, and recommendations on a variety of rental products.
