Leviton's Vannice Named USITT Fellow

Kenneth Vannice, Project Manager and Certification Engineer for Leviton’s Lighting Control Division, was inducted as a Fellow by the United States Institute for Theatre Technology (USITT) at its 44th Annual Conference and Stage Expo held recently in Long Beach, California.

The lifetime designation of USITT Fellow is presented to a highly elite group of members who have made significant contributions to theatre and the work of the Institute. "It’s a true mark of distinction to be included in such a prestigious group of theatre practitioners, I’d like to thank my dear friends at the USITT for this most honorable designation," Vannice said.

Vannice’s contributions to the Institute include having served as a member for more than 30 years, including serving on its Board of Directors. He currently serves as Chairman to its NEC Committee, sits on its Standards Committee and acts as Vice-Commissioner of the Engineering Commission.

Through his involvement in organizations such as UL (Underwriters Laboratories), NEC commitee, USITT, and ESTA’s technical standards program, Vannice has influenced the standards and regulations that guide the safety and performance lighting control products throughout his career.
