Leviton has announced the appointment of Rick Leinen as specification manager, lighting control systems for the company’s Lighting Control Division.
A 16-year veteran with Leviton, Leinen brings to his new post a background in the design of dimming systems for theatrical and architectural applications. As specificaton manager, Leinen will work closely with the division’s product management team to prepare specifications for its line of theatrical and architectural dimming systems.
In his previous position as an engineering project manager for Leviton’s NSI (now Lighting Control Division) theatrical controls, Leinen was instrumental in the design and project management of the Innovator Series of control consoles and the NPC (Network Protocol Converter) product line that distributes signals over TCP/IP Ethernet networks.
Leinen holds a BA in Theatre Technology from Moorhead State University and a BS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from North Dakota State University.
