LDI2011: Still Time To Register

We’re down to the final stretch, but there is still time to register for the out-of-the-box events, hands-on training, and conference sessions at LDI2011, October 24-30 in Orlando, FL.

We kick things off with Backstage Orlando, and two great shows both recently updated—Blue Man Group and Cirque du Soleil’s La Nouba—followed by in-depth tours of the theatres and panels with the tech teams. Then an eight-hour visit to Disney World for a dose of theme park technology culminating with the complex projection show at Cinderella Castle.

Next up are the Live Design Projection Master Classes, taking place this year at the hot new live performance venue at Full Sail. Join creative consultant Abbey Rosen Holmes and a great faculty of projection pros to explore the tips, tools, and techniques of today’s sophisticated world of the visual image. PMC attendees also zip over to Disney for dinner and the castle show.

There are still slots in some of our hands-on training courses in this year’s LDInstitute as well, from lighting console training to the pro-audio training offered by Pat Brown of Syn-Aud-Con, by way of media servers, software, and LDI’s electrical and rigging boot camp with courses carrying ETCP renewal credits. Check out the LDInstitute and roll up your sleeves for some essential training.

And don’t forget the LDInnovation & Technology Conference, with four days of sessions on a variety of topics key to the industry:
Ethernet Day
• Green Day Think Tank
• Lighting Summit
• Lighting Summit II
• Production Techniques
 • PLASA Technical Standards Updates
The Art of Programming
• TFWM@LDI

With three new technology breakfasts, the LDI Awards ceremony, a portfolio review, and even a technology cruise aboard the Disney Dream, LDI2011 embraces the design and technology that defines the entertainment industry.

Register today and be part of the action in Orlando!
