LDI Report: Horizon, Genlyte Announce Strategic Alliance

Horizon Control

has announced a strategic alliance with Entertainment Technology, a Genlyte Company, for the marketing, sales, and distribution of the Horizon product line. Horizon Control will continue to focus on its core competencies of design, development, and support of Windows-based lighting control software for entertainment, theatrical, and architectural applications.

Alan Martello, Horizon product architect, is heading Horizon Control, and Robert Bell, formerly of CAST Lighting and a member of the original team that worked on WYSIWYG 3D visualization software, will continue as Horizon product manager. Gordon Pearlman, known throughout the industry as the pioneer who brought computerized lighting controls to Broadway in the original production of A Chorus Line in 1975 will continue to serve as technical consultant for future Horizon products.
