Shane Smith: My mission is to blend technical excellence with people-first leadership, helping teams thrive while ensuring that clients and partners achieve success and receive the highest level of service.
LD: Please give a brief overview of your training/education/career path,
SS: BS Recording Industry, Minors in Electronics and Mass Communication. Worked as a freelancer and full-time at Walt Disney World, and have now been working at LMG for over 20 years
LD: Please describe your most recent project.
SS: A large corporate event in Las Vegas for a tech company
LD: What has been the biggest challenge of your career to date?
SS: Trying to stay in front of of the ever changing landscape of live events.
LD: What is your advice for people just getting into the industry?
SS: If you can show up on time, sober, and have a great attitude, you are well ahead of most starting in the live events industry
