The exhibit hall and demo rooms are open from 10am to 3pm, with lots of exciting new products and technological breakthroughs to see. Don't miss this year's award-winning products at SGM, City Theatrical, Martin, Colorlight, and PK Sound at ACT Entertainment. And the winning booths: Glow Motion, Robe, Theatrixx, and SGM.
In the LDInnovation Conference:
• How to Integrate MVR and GDTF Into Your Application: 1:30-2:20pm in Room W221: A technical session for manufacturers already using or planning to use GDTF and/or MVR. We'll cover topics such as the MVR file format, how to use the C++ library, and how to use it in node.js and Python. Manufacturers are encouraged to bring their laptops to follow along.
• GDTF/MVR Open Manufacturer Meeting: 2:30-3:20pm in Room W221: This session is for manufacturers interested in learning more about GDTF and/or MVR and how they can get involved, as well as manufacturers who’ve already implemented the file formats. We'll discuss the current state and future developments of GDTF & MVR, followed by an open Q&A. Please note this session is for manufacturers only. Be part of unifying the industry!
Two final sessions on the LDI show floor, both at 11am:
• In the Foster The Future Lounge, a 30-minute buzz session with Elynmarie Kazle of the Stage Managers Association to talk about career opportunities in stage & event management;
• On the Amplify Stage, Jon Gottlieb, Leon Rothenerg, and Nina Field will discuss Career Paths In Audio.
The Behind The Scenes Shining A Light Wellness Lounge will also be open from 10am to 3pm on the LDI show floor, with a wide variety of sessions:
11:10-11:30am: Cup of Coffee Yoga with David Lincecum of ETC
12:45-1:15pm: The Biology of Sleep: What Goes On In Our Brains and Bodies While We Sleep
1:15-1:45pm: The Effects of Sleep Deprivation in The Entertainment Industry
2:00-2:30pm: Overview of Mental Health Tools & Resource
And the final day of Mental Health First Aid Training, 9am-5pm in room W210 with Steven Michelman.
