Showman Fabricators has announced that Kai Brothers of Kai Production Strategies (KPS) has agreed to join the Showman team as production services manager.
Brothers has been assigned the task of adding his unique skill set to Showman’s growing list of capabilities. For 18 years, clients have relied on Showman to provide scenic services for their productions along with a unique brand of management skills. Clients can now count on Showman to take an even greater role in their next project by including production management services in Showman’s capabilities.

"Kai puts one of the last few pieces in place that will enable Showman clients to fully utilize our knowledge and experience to its fullest". Robert Usdin, Showman’s president adds "For years we have heard clients comment that they would like to have included Showman at an earlier stage in a project. Kai gives us that capability and we can now provide an even higher level of across-the-board service". Brothers has been head of KPS for eight years, providing production management and technical services to many Broadway and Off-Broadway clients such as Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune, ‘night, Mother and The Laramie Project. He has led the way in bringing new standards and practices to the Off-Broadway theater world. With his organizational skills and production expertise combined with Showman’s high level of craftsmanship and technical know-how, clients will be able to fully take advantage of all of Showman’s capabilities.
