Out Board has appointed Jolly Pro Audio as exclusive Hong Kong and China distributor for its TiMax Audio Imaging delay matrix and showcontrol processor.
CEO Andy Leung immediately organized a seminar in Hong Kong where Out Board director Robin Whittaker presented the psychoacoustic principles and advanced delay management techniques of TiMax to an audience of sound designers, contractors and engineers.
The PC-based TiMax showcontrol system allows multiple cues to be programmed in rehearsal with multiple precedence delay presets for each performer’s stage position or sound effect localization for a given scene. Playlist sound cues are then triggered manually or via MIDI, SMPTE, and RS232 commands.
Jolly Pro Audio’s new demo stock TiMax ImageMaker was also used for extensive staff training by Whittaker in TiMax sound design and programming, and already sales of TiMax ImageMaker16 systems have been confirmed for two prestigious venues in mainland China.
