Jeanette Farmer Joins Fisher Technical Services As Director Of Projects

Fisher Technical Services, Inc. (FTSI) is proud to announce that Jeanette Farmer has joined their team of automation system professionals as director of projects.

An 18 year veteran of Cirque du Soleil, Farmer played an instrumental part in the design and production of every major Cirque show in Las Vegas since the advent of Mystere in 1993, including her most recent role as lighting designer for Believe at the Luxor.

“Jeanette brings an incredible wealth of experience, innovation, and energy to Fisher Technical Services, especially in our key market of complex, large-scale productions. She was at the center of many of the shows that showed the world how to produce the impossible, and having her at the helm of our project management will allow us to provide our clients with an unparalleled level of organization, efficiency, and support,” says Scott Fisher, president of FTSI.

During the exponential growth of Cirque over the past decade and a half, Farmer was a key force in developing new methods and products, shepherding many complex technologies and theatre project organization structures from concept to completion.

“After years of developing projects for Cirque, I felt it was time for a new challenge,” comments Farmer. “I have known Scott for many years, and the technology that FTSI has developed for theatre automation is astonishing. On past projects, I have been fortunate to have the opportunities to push theatre and entertainment toward better solutions to the challenges of design and production, and I see the work that FTSI is doing as the next step in the continuing evolution of our industry.” She adds, “I’m looking forward to helping entertainment professionals in all areas make their shows safer and more spectacular than they ever thought possible.”
