Jane head has joined the Lighting Design Group in the position of vice president of the firm’s systems group.
Educated at University of South Florida, Tampa, and Yale School of Drama (where she received an MFA in technical design and production), Head’s experience includes nine years as regional sales manager at Colortran and seven years as vice president, sales and marketing at Production Arts Lighting. Since 1994, she has been a consultant to the Lighting Design Group; during that time she was responsible for lighting and dimming system design and installation coordination for such projects as MSNBC, Times Square Studios, Freedom Forum, and National Geographic.
The Lighting Design Group is the largest broadcast lighting and facilities design firm on the East Coast, with a full-time staff of 15 designers.
