IALD Celebrates 35 Years

The International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) will celebrate 35 years of independent architectural lighting design with a series of afternoon and evening events on Thursday, October 14, 2004, in New York City.

Founders, Fellows, Past Presidents, and other VIPs will be on hand for Q & As and will talk about how they pioneered the process of defining space and architecture with light. The evening culminates at a reception at the Center for Architecture, 536 LaGuardia Place, where founders, current, and future lighting designers will mingle and network.

Come join the group who literally defined the independent architectural lighting design profession at the Grand Hyatt New York (Park Avenue at Grand Central Terminal) from 11am until the 7 pm banquet at the Center for Architecture. The day-long event will include registration, a recognition luncheon, panel discussions, and more to be topped off by the 35th Anniversary Banquet.
