High End Systems Moves to New Austin Location

After 22 years on Braker Lane, the staff of worldwide automated lighting manufacturer High End Systems Inc. is excited about moving to a new location in Austin, Texas.

High End’s new home, just a half mile away, features 97,500 square feet in two adjacent buildings. The main two-story building houses the sales, marketing, administrative, engineering, production and shipping departments. The new second building features a conference room, service training area and a larger demo room.

The move offers more than physical space, says HES VP of Operations Rick Thompson. “Right now, High End is spread out over three buildings," he says. "This move will provide a synergy, a more cohesive culture. This will also offer significant cost savings in the areas of productivity and utilities. It gives us room for growth with all of our new products coming up this year.”

HES Founder/Chairman Lowell Fowler is looking forward to a new environment, emphasizing that the move will not leave the spirit of High End behind, but rather accommodate its growth. “We’ve been in our Braker Center location since 1981 and have worn it out with modifications to accommodate our growth," Fowler says. "The new building gives all departments easy proximity to each other and communication will be enhanced. Having a larger production facility makes the move worthwhile. Plus it gives us more creative space. We need that to help create the Next Big Thing.”

Starting Nov. 10, the new address is:

High End Systems Inc.

2105 Gracy Farms Lane

Austin, Texas 78758

The main contact numbers remain the same at phone (512) 836-2242, and FAX (512) 837-5290. However, all employee extension numbers will change.

To accommodate the move, High End Systems will be closed starting at 5 p.m. Central Time on Thursday, Nov. 6 and throughout the business day Friday, Nov. 7, resuming normal operations in its new location on Monday, Nov. 10.
