Group One Ltd, an independent distributor of professional audio equipment, has appointed Michael A. Colon as national sales manager for Professional Audio Products. Colon, who has over 14 years experience in the live sound touring and installation industry, will now represent the MC2 Audio Ltd. and XTA Electronics lines.
"Michael is a seasoned professional with a thorough understanding of industry dynamics," states Jack Kelly, Group One Ltd. president. "His years of experience in the pro audio field will help him make valuable contributions to our growth as well as meeting the needs of our customers."
Most recently, Colon served as western regional sales manager for Crest Audio, where he was responsible for a number of high-profile sound reinforcement installations in the region, including the Mandalay Bay Casino convention center and Hotel in Las Vegas, and a series of prestigious live sound venues and night clubs in Hollywood, CA. Colon previously acted as president of MC Marketing, a manufacturer’s rep firm based in southern California and held a six-year tenure as applications engineer at JBL Professional.
