Granite City Electric Supply Company is continuing its New England expansion with locations in Pittsfield and Lowell, MA.
Steve Helle, company president, announced the purchase of certain assets of Pittsfield Electric Supply and Repair in Pittsfield, and Lowell Electric C&I in Lowell. The two Massachusetts acquisitions will operate under the name of Granite City Electric Supply Company, and mark the 17th and 18th branch locations for the Quincy, MA-based company.
"We are excited about expanding our presence in New England and serving the Pittsfield and Lowell markets," said Helle. "We will offer the same outstanding service packages that exist at our other locations. This includes overnight 'Night Train' delivery and 24-hour emergency service."
The company now has 18 full service locations throughout New England including Pittsfield, Lowell, Quincy, Plymouth, South Yarmouth, Falmouth, Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket, New Bedford, Andover, Bellingham, Boston, Worcester, Leominster, Bennington (VT) Brattleboro (VT), Keene (NH) and Warwick (RI), as well as five retail lighting showrooms.
