Massive LED Screens From GoVision On Display At Dozens Of PGA, LPGA Events

GoVision has been the LED video screen provider of record for multiple PGA tournaments, the PGA of America and LPGA for nearly 20 years. This year, the company’s screens will be impossible to miss at more tournaments than ever.

The Argyle, Texas-based provider of large-scale LED video displays will be on-site at 21 stops along the PGA, Champions and Amateur tours, highlighted by AT&T Pebble Beach, Insperity Invitational, CJ Cup Byron Nelson, PGA Championship, Charles Schwab Challenge, Senior PGA Championship, 3M Open, BMW Championship and Junior Invitational.

GoVision will also supply its state-of-the-art screens to all 23 LPGA tournaments in the U.S. and Canada from two touring trailers, each housing 90 6mm LED tiles and six base support systems. Each LPGA Tour event typically deploys between four and seven LED screens, which vary in size by location.

Last weekend, Amman’s team began loading in a Texas-sized array of cutting-edge LED inventory at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson, including massive video screens and televisions in the Choctaw Club, Champions Club, Media Center and along the 17th and 18th holes.

“The Byron Nelson golf tournament has partnered with GoVision for more than 20 years,” said Jon Drago, Tournament Director of the CJ Cup Byron Nelson. “Our relationship has long since grown past transactional and we consider them a valuable part of our team. There’s a reason you’ll see GoVision technology at tournaments on every TOUR, because they set the standard for what we are looking to provide, and they understand how to deliver it in the most efficient way possible.”

For the PGA Championship at Valhalla Golf Club, GoVision’s screens will provide spectators with up-close views of the action at the Main Entrance, Player Interview Area, Media Center, Club PGA, Champions Club, Valhalla Members Club, Driving Range and at Hole #10 and the 18th Green.

“Golf has always been a foundational sporting platform for GoVision, thanks to our extraordinary relationship with the PGA and LGPA,” said Brett Amman, GoVision’s Senior Vice President of Golf. “Our entire spring to early summer is jam-packed with events, which started with the RBC Heritage and Zurich Classic in April. We’ll be supporting a dozen events over the next six weeks, including four LPGA tournaments happening simultaneously.”
