GoVision Appoints Trio Of Executives To Board of Directors

GoVision LLC, the premier provider of large-scale LED video displays, announced today the appointment of three prominent executives to its Board of Directors:

  • Matt Deimund, Chief Transformation Officer, Varsity Spirit
  • Chuck Huttinger, Co-founder/CEO, GFX International, Inc.
  • Stephen Shannon, Founder/CEO, Colo Development Partners

Matt Deimund joined Varsity Spirit in February 2022 in the role of Chief Transformation Officer, which includes leading the Varsity Performing Arts business unit consisting of top marching band brands Stanbury, DSI and SA Feather. Deimund also oversees Varsity’s Retail and Direct-to-Consumer business units (event-based retail, ecommerce and team store channels), Corporate Partnerships and the digital and corporate strategy functions. Deimund previously served as Senior VP Corporate Strategy at Learfield, and as Managing Director of Fanbase (Learfield’s fan data and analytics technology group). He was responsible for the enterprise strategy function across all business units, including integrating efforts on topics as diverse as NIL, sports wagering, joint Go-To-Market, enterprise partnerships/M&A and business unit-level/enterprise analytics functions.

Deimund holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Oklahoma. He and his wife, Paige, have three young children: Hallie, Jake and Sydney. He is an active member at Watermark Community Church, and enjoys outdoor activities and college sports.

Chuck Huttinger led GFX International from its founding as a general service screen printer to its position today as a leader in developing and supplying in-store marketing services, branded environments and logistics for the retail, restaurant and hospitality markets. He sold GFX in 2018 to Oak Hill Capital Partners, a private equity firm based in New York, and has since invested in six start-up businesses in various industries including health care technology, experiential marketing, technology marketing to retail, data analytics and GoVision.

Huttinger’s career includes stints as CFO at Central States Industries, Inc., COO at Holoubek, Inc., and CFO of Starmark, Inc. He graduated with a BBA in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame in 1977. He and his wife, Susan, have four children and live in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Stephen Shannon has actively worked in various aspects of real estate, private investment and financial advisory industries for the past 23 years. He currently serves as Founder and CEO of Colo Development Partners, a commercial real estate investment and development business; Denton Capital Management, a private equity and direct investment company; and Panteles Advisors, a registered investment advisor serving the financial needs of a select number of wealthy families. Prior to his current endeavors, Shannon served as an executive officer for Denkmann Interests, an 8th-generation family office.  

Shannon earned his BBA from Southern Methodist University and an EEC in Forestry at Yale University. He and his wife, Leslee, have two children: Anne and Jack. He is an active member of the Village Church and is involved in several philanthropic organizations.

GoVision’s executive team is embarking on its next phase of growth under the leadership of Curtis and Faciane. The company is on pace to provide its LED screens and other live-event technology solutions to over 500 events throughout 2023. including being seen regularly on ESPN College GameDay, SEC Nation and the ManningCast during Monday Night Football. In addition, GoVision recently renewed its long-term contracts to provide screens to the PGA of America and the NCAA. Its fixed installations include recently replacing the “Big Hoss” giant LED screen at Texas Motor Speedway and newly completed installs at 10 Live Nation venues across the country.
