Awards Season And Upcoming Events

Awards season is upon us with the 94th Oscars airing on March 27, 2022 from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. Word is that Emmy Award-winning lighting designer Bob Dickinson will be back for his 33rd Oscar presentation, while David Korins, whose Broadway productions include Hamilton, returns as production designer, a role he filled in 2019. 

In other news, the Tony Awards are set for a live, nationwide broadcast, the first in their 75-year history, from Radio City Music Hall. Nominations will be announced on Tuesday, May 3 for qualifying productions from the 2021-2022 season.

The Olivier Award nominations have been announced with winners to be revealed on April 10 in London, UK.
