Forecast For Wednesday, September 23, 2020

Frida Kahlo comes to life in She Who: Frida, Mami & Me, by Contra-Tiempo and is part of a live streaming program of dance from The Joyce Theatre, tonight, Tuesday, September 22 through October 19. Now while this is a wonderful thing for The Joyce to be doing, it really reminds us that instead of going to see our favorite dance companies—or discover new ones—sitting in the theatre, applauding, the theatres remain shuttered, and the fall seasons are online rather on the stage.
