Explore Architectural Lighting At LDI 2026

From the LDInstitute to the LDInnovation Conference, LDI 2006 puts a special focus on architectural lighting. From DMX and design for permanent architectural lighting to the intersection of entertainment and architecture in architainment, these are a few of the sessions that explore the lumens that light up our lives.

In the LDInstitute:

DMX Programming For Architectural Lighting: Integration, Creativity & Code Compliance. Learn how to align dynamic DMX lighting with energy code–compliant systems, ensuring that creative designs meet real-world requirements. This session covers key strategies for integrating DMX with architectural controls while maintaining compliance. Speakers from Pathway Connectivity include Thomas Ladd, Matthew Klaismeier, and Matthew Martin.

LDInnovation Conference Sessions:

Crossing Over To The Dark Side: Permanent Architectural Lighting. A discussion focusing around three key components: the vision of the design, the tools and deliverables necessary to accomplish that vision, and how to control it. Speaker: Matthew Tirschwell, president/CEO, Tirschwell & Co.

When Architectural Lighting Met Entertainment. This session traces how tools and techniques born on the stage found new aesthetic expression in facades, public spaces, and urban landscapes, and how the two worlds now converge in Architainment. The LDInnovation Conference will also include sessions on LED color mixing, CRI, and other colorful topics of interest to architectural lighting designers and architects. 

LDI 2026 takes place December 2-8 in the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
