Design Criteria
Client presented a 3D rendering of its wishlist for each area of the venue. After the initial site visit and render review, I was able to execute the design as needed in full for all areas of production 360.
Project Description
Transform The Shrine Expo Hall into a modern technological experience using its historical lineage and architecture as the main focal point.
Challenges and Solutions
The Shrine Theatre and Expo Hall employees both union and non-union staff, depending on the area of the venue. This alone takes a detailed undetaking in preproduction, making sure the needed staff is booked while tracking expenses and keeping within budget.
The venue is also registered as a historical site. Many local laws and process' must be followed.
Dock space was limited. Delivery schedules with all departments had to be staggered for load-in and load-out in order to keep the workflow consistent.
