Design Criteria
Della Ding’s <A Night Tour> concert at the Taipei Arena features a lighting design centered on the core theme of a nocturnal journey. Through the seamless integration of lighting and video, the visual narrative evolves from tranquil nightscapes to high-energy peaks.
Project Description
The design extends beyond mere illumination, projecting visuals across the entire venue to create a dynamic sense of spatial depth. Precise synchronization ensures every cue aligns perfectly with the music’s rhythm and transitions. High-tempo segments utilize Beams and Strobes alongside geometric motion graphics, while ballads employ soft Wash lighting and LED imagery to balance delicate detail with emotional depth.
A key highlight is the 250-meter circular runway. Fixtures deployed along this structure trace a continuous "Path of Light," extending the stage presence directly into the audience. By meticulously controlling color and color temperature, the production merges lighting and video into a layered, immersive "Night Tour" experience.

Anchored in years of close collaboration and profound creative synergy across multidisciplinary teams, our collective expertise has seamlessly expanded from intimate performance spaces to large-scale productions. This enduring alignment has forged an intuitive operational rhythm, allowing the project to evolve effortlessly from conceptual vision to flawless live execution.
We would particularly like to present a pivotal visual masterpiece to the jury: the majestic tree motif. Designed as an organic bridge between dynamic video graphics and the live lighting architecture, the motif extends beyond the screen into the three-dimensional stage environment. Through precision light programming that sculpts, traces, and elevates its contours, the seamless fusion of light and video brings forth a grand, deeply immersive, and emotionally evocative tree formation that dominates the stage with breath-taking presence.

Equipment
The production utilizes an extensive, professional-grade lighting, effects, and synchronization setup designed for high-impact visual performance and seamless live execution.
The primary lighting rig features a massive deployment of high-channel moving heads and linear fixtures, including 44 ACME AECO 20 (37ch), 84 JOLLY X-7 (39ch), 24 JOLLY 3000CC (31ch), 80 ACME PIXEL LINE IP (68ch), 126 ACME TB-5 (71ch), 93 ACME TB 1060 (168ch), and 48 ACM CM-1000Z (140ch) units, delivering sophisticated layerings and dynamic visual effects. To enrich the atmospheric visual aesthetics, 8 units of 50cm mirror balls are incorporated into the stage design.
At the core of the control system are 2 grandMA3 Full-Size consoles running software version 3.9.60.74, providing rock-solid reliability, precision programming, and comprehensive system control.
The follow spot and comms infrastructure comprises 12 4K Follow Spot units paired with dedicated intercom systems—2 channels for follow spot cue operators and 3 channels for general production crew—ensuring precise real-time spot tracking and communication. A comprehensive set of colour filters is deployed for precise color temperature and diffusion control, including 12 sheets each of LEE filters (#202, #206, #110, #169, #035, #106) and 12 sheets of ROSCO #132.
Atmospheric effects are generated using 8 ANTARI F-7 hazers, integrated directly into the lighting console for centralized control, alongside 8 heavy-duty industrial fans for optimal smoke dispersion.
Finally, the system control and audio monitoring setup integrates 2 lighting-to-audio synchronization systems for frame-accurate timecode automation, alongside 3 IEM Pack sets to maintain clear, low-latency audio monitoring for performance management.
