Entertainment Lighting Services Makes a Big Move

LA-based lighting, rigging, and staging company Entertainment Lighting Services (ELS) is moving from its current North Hollywood headquarters to a newly renovated 70,000-sq.-ft. Sun Valley location.

The new location boasts a 58,000-sq.-ft. warehouse with six truck docks, a 12,000-sq.-ft. office space, and a 1,200-sq.-ft. showroom. Also included in the expansion is a state-of-the-art computer-aided design lab, with future plans for an instructional classroom.

"In the last decade alone, we've experienced incredible growth, quadrupling the company revenue," says ELS director of marketing and sales Tammie Richards. "And we're tapping into more markets every day. Our ultimate goal is to exceed client expectations, so we're really excited about this new move, because it allows us to offer even more of what our clients want."

ELS supplies equipment for sales and rental applications and provides production services for stage, film, video, events, exhibits, themed attractions, houses of worship, and educational and retail environments. The company's client list includes such heavy hitters as Disney, Dreamworks, Microsoft, Ford Motors, Coca-Cola, Warner Bros., UCLA, and the Crystal Cathedral, among others. Recently the firm handled the media event production and party lighting rental installations for Spider-Man, Star Wars, and the 20th anniversary of ET.

ELS plans to host a series of open-house gatherings where they will offer facility tours and product showcases, and auctions of used rental gear.
