ELS Names Andy Pepper Senior Vice President

Entertainment Lighting Services (ELS) has named Andy Pepper senior vice president, announces company founder and president John Chuck.

“Andy has over 30 years in the lighting and entertainment industries and has worked in all facets of the business. The strong relationships, managerial experience, and industry expertise he has acquired make him the perfect choice to spearhead ELS’s growth and expansion efforts in this new position as senior vice president,” Chuck says.

“Over the past 15 years, our sales have increased an average of twelve percent per year—an extraordinary growth rate. To sustain and improve it, we must expand our leadership team. We are delighted to welcome Andy back to the ELS family and look forward to him playing a major role in our continuing growth and success,” he adds.

Prior to rejoining ELS, Pepper was general manager of AVI Staging Technology Group and before that, GM of Hollywood Rental Company’s Midwest camera and lighting division. His extensive background in lighting and entertainment includes a variety of production positions in live theatre, motion picture, television, and concert production. He has worked on countless commercials, television shows and feature films, and has produced his own independent film, Artworks.

As senior vice president, Pepper will focus on growth and customer relationships while assuming active oversight of the rental and sales divisions. He will also head up the company’s daily operations. As part of ELS’s senior management team, Pepper joins CEO John Chuck and CFO Todd Richards in leading the strategic development of the company.

“It’s fantastic to be back home at ELS. Without question, John Chuck and the ELS team have created the industry’s preeminent lighting and production services company. ELS’s rapid growth, from a small regional lighting rental company in North Hollywood to the nationally recognized, multifaceted lighting company ELS is today, is truly remarkable. I’m looking forward to leveraging that position to broaden our sales base, increase our market share and expand our geographic reach,” Pepper says.
