This year's conference will feature two new tracks--Facilities & Maintenance and Contracting & Engineering--in addition to Focus on Business, Industrial Lighting, Power Quality, and Practical Methods. The special Spotlight Session topics are Telecommunications Bonding & Grounding Infrastructure for Commercial Buildings and Customer-Owned Outside Plants, Understanding and Applying the National Electrical Code, and Grounding & Bonding: Understanding the 2002 National Electrical Code.

The Electric West Show also offers four full-day Pre-Conference Workshops Monday, February 3, which focus on Power Quality Troubleshooting with Handheld Test Tools; Battery Maintenance and Testing: Doing it Right; Commercial and Industrial Lighting Workshop for Engineers, Contractors, and Distributors; and Low-Voltage Ground Fault Protection.
