DWP Live, a leading Nashville-based event technology company, was tasked with providing projection support at “The Way of the Rain” (TWOTR) - Hope for the Earth on October 29, at Grimaldi Forum in Monte Carlo, Monaco. The event was held in honor of The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation’s 15th Anniversary & Environmental Award Ceremony.
Danny Whetstone, founder, has proudly led DWP Live’s 5+ year partnership with The Way of the Rain providing technical support for various performances. The company projected TWOTR’s “Mother Earth” film onto the stage, choir and orchestra throughout the performance of “Hope for Earth” with disguise media servers and Barco projectors.
The performance was an ode to nature’s powerful beauty while calling attention to the earth’s vulnerability brought on by climate change and included spoken word by Robert Redford. The Symphony and Choir of Music, Art and Film accompanied this multidisciplinary environmental performance and was conceived and directed by Sibylle Szaggars Redford in collaboration with composer Tim Janis and Floyd Thomas McBee.
