Corporate Event Specialist TBA Global Events Restructures

TBA GLOBAL EVENTS, corporate events and consumer marketing specialist, announced a company restructure that includes the development of unique business units along with key executive appointments. TBA GLOBAL EVENTS will now be structured into four specific business units. They are: strategic events/meeting planning services, destination management, consumer marketing, and fairs and festivals entertainment.

TBA GLOBAL EVENTS ranks number two in the top 50 event planning companies (Special Events Magazine, September 2005) and moves forward to expand their presence in the marketplace. As such, the following key executives have been appointed to head the new business units.

Bob McCormick is named senior vice president, strategic events/meeting planning services. His 24 years of experience in the industry includes an extensive production background. In his new post, McCormick will be responsible for further developing TBA's corporate event production and meeting services business.

Jill Liszewski is named senior vice president of destination management. With over 17 years in the incentive, meetings, and event industry, Liszewski has been instrumental in developing various lines of new business and innovative services. In her new post, Liszewski will build the TBA destination management brand, provide vision, manage overall direction, and create focus for the business unit.

Dennis Boyle is named senior vice president of consumer marketing. Boyle has extensive experience in brand strategy, consumer marketing and has been considered a leader in brand strategies. He was a partner in STI Communications, a production and communications group where he worked with clients such as Hyatt Hotels, Sprint, B&W, and United Airlines. In his new post, Boyle will manage the consumer marketing division further extending his work with developing brand strategies.

Fran Romeo is named vice president of fairs & festivals entertainment. Romeo has received the prestigious Talent Buyer of the Year Award by the Academy of Country Music (2004) and from the International Entertainment Buyers Association (2002). She will continue to oversee innovative content and further develop the platform for brands to reach the fair and festival audiences.

TBA GLOBAL EVENTS also announced the newest additions to their top executive team. CB Wismar is named senior vice president of TBA GLOBAL EVENTS. Preceding his involvement with TBA GLOBAL EVENTS, Wismar was a founder of PGI, Inc. and president of Wismar Creative Group, Inc. In his new role, Wismar will work on both international business initiatives as well as strategic marketing initiatives.

David Kahn is named senior vice president, sales. With over 20 years of sales and marketing experience, Kahn has worked with many Fortune 500 companies. In his new post, Kahn will work with all business unit leaders and is directly responsible for overseeing all sales and new business opportunities.

Greg Anton is named senior vice president, account management. With 25 years of strategic events experience, Anton joined TBA GLOBAL EVENTS in 1997 to develop key partnerships for the business communications group. In his new post, Anton will lead the account management team to support all TBA clientele.

Leo Fitzpatrick is named senior vice president, creative. Fitzpatrick has been recognized for his work with national sales meetings, new product launches, brand initiatives, live consumer marketing, and internal communications campaigns. In his new post, Fitzpatrick is responsible for TBA GLOBAL EVENTS’ team of creative directors, designers, artists, and strategists.
