Concert Lighting 101 At LDI2011

"Concert Lighting 101 is perfect for that college student or technician wanting to move into the LD role someday. When I was getting started, I had the opportunity to walk the show floor at LDI with Jeff Ravitz and I learned more in those few hours than I could even believe. I'm hoping to share that same experience with the next group of designers-to-be. We'll answer the questions you were scared to ask, tell you how things REALLY work on the road, and hopefully have a few of my friends to drop in and share some road stories." Seth Jackson

Don’t miss this full-day course taught by two-time Parnelli Award winner lighting designer Seth Jackson, who was the associate designer with Steve Cohen for Star Wars: In Concert, where the team also included Bryan Barancik. Jackson designed eight world tours for Toby Keith, and is currently the creative director for Selena Gomez in addition to Alice Cooper, Don Henley, Carrie Underwood, Jason Mraz, Melissa Etheridge, Hillary Duff, and director of Barry Manilow: Music & Passion in Las Vegas. In addition he serves as an instructor in Concert Design at Webster University's Conservatory of Theatre Arts.

Register for all pro-training at LDI by September 23 to save.
