New York and London: Landor & Fitch today announces the appointment of Christian Schroeder as Global President.
Christian will be joining Landor & Fitch in the newly created role of Global President, to head the global leadership team and take day-to-day responsibility for the network. He brings more than 30 years of experience working across several agencies in both the advertising and branding and design space. He will be based in London and report to Jane Geraghty, who will remain a board member of Landor & Fitch as Executive Chairman, alongside a new role as WPP Chief Client Officer, based in New York.
The move marks a return to Landor & Fitch for Christian, who initially joined Landor 24 years ago, playing a pivotal role in developing its presence in Central and Eastern Europe. He subsequently led Lambie-Nairn as Global CEO. During his tenure at Lambie-Nairn, Christian built a network of offices across EMEA and LATAM, and led key client relationships such as Telefonica (O2 & Movistar), FIFA, the BBC and Al Jazeera. Since 2011, Schroeder has been part of WPP’s Global Client Leaders team, responsible for leading several of WPP’s largest clients.
Christian Schroeder said: “I am really excited to return to Landor, where I began my time at WPP. Jane and the team have created a superb business over the past few years, and I am looking forward to the opportunity to build on that success.”
Jane Geraghty said: “I am so pleased that Christian is coming back to Landor. His client leadership experience at WPP, coupled with his brand consultancy and design credentials, means he is uniquely well qualified to lead the team and continue to grow the business.”
